Tanil Raif is a London-based architect and designer, and co-founder of T__M.Space, an experimental design studio he founded with Mario Serrano Puche. The studio works across architecture, fashion, and spatial experiences, exploring primitive futurism through the combination of advanced digital fabrication and raw, local materials to create regenerative, place-driven projects.
He studied architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago and at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Tanil has also taught at the Architectural Association in London, where his teaching focuses on material systems, assembly, and the relationship between digital craft and physical making.
Prior to founding his practice, he worked with leading creative and architectural organizations including Yeezy and MAD Architects, contributing to concept design, spatial environments, and multidisciplinary collaborations across fashion, performance, and architecture.
Operating between disciplines and continents, his recent projects include the globally recognized Aranyani Pavilion in New Delhi, and URNA, the Maltese Pavilion, which was awarded the Gold Medal at the London Design Biennale 2025. His practice aims to merge ecological thinking, cultural narrative, and contemporary technology into new spatial and design typologies. His work has been featured in publications including Condé Nast, the Financial Times, ELLE, ArchDaily, Designboom, and Dezeen, among others.
